Tigers to sign Broncos star?

The Sydney Morning Herald are reporting that the Wests Tigers are “eyeing” Brisbane Broncos current fullback Anthony Milford.

It was rumoured after the Broncos’ loss to the Eels in an elimination final that the Broncos had told Milford he was on his last chance at the club and that they needed to see a real improvement in the 2020 season.

However, it seems if the Tigers get their man, Milford won’t have to worry about any second chances.

There are questions over exactly where the Queensland representative would play though, Corey Thompson has excelled in the Tigers’ fullback role, with Marshall and Brooks likely holding down their positions in the halves, and not to mention the fact that the Tigers have just signed young half Billy Walters to potentially take Marshall’s place once he retires.
