Tigers slight favourites to top the table

Wigan Warriors 10-27 Castleford Tigers

Castleford head the betting to top the regular season table at 2/1 as we reach the halfway point.

After Last weekends reduced Super League program  all clubs have now played each other once and there are only 12 games left until the league splits at the end of July.

The Tigers were around 10/1 at the start of the season but despite losing their last 2 games currently sit top of the table, level on points with Leeds who can still be backed at 7/1 to finish top before the league splits in July.
The Rhinos were only 9/1 at the start of the season and it’s quite surprising their odds haven’t dropped further as they sit joint top of the table.
Ante post favourites Wigan are around the same odds, 11/4,  they were at the start of the season.

Hull FC have drifted to 8/1, they were 5/1 in February, despite being level on points with Wigan and only a point off top.

Salford are now 25/1 to finish top after 23 games, in from 150/1 at the start of the season, and this will look big  in 2 weeks time if they win at the DW with Wigan having players away on international duty. The Red Devils currently sit only 2 points off the top of the table.
Salford are only 3/1 for a top 4 finish but please check bet rules as a top 4 finish is usually after 30 games not 23.

Early season 2nd favourites Warrington can be backed at 5/2 for a top 4 finish, they are the same odds to finish in the bottom 4.

Castleford and Wigan share Grand Final favouritism at 2/1 with Leeds 7/1 and Hull 10/1. If you fancy Wire or Saints to turn it round you can get 12 and 14/1 respectively, surprise packets Salford are 25/1 to be crowned Champions at Old Trafford in October.
