Friday night Rugby comes from Castleford where a win for Huddersfield will guarantee them a top 8 finish and put Champions Leeds a step closer to the middle 8.
The Tigers have gone about their business largely under the radar this year but a win here could move them up to 2nd in the table.
Daryl Powell’s side have been impressive at home again this season and despite the Giants recent improvement I fully expect a home win here.
Only Warrington and St Helens have won at the jungle in 2018 and with a home win as low as 1/4 the bookies fully expect the Tigers to win this.
The Giants may target next week’s home game against Wakefield to gain the 2 points needed for safety and 11/4 for an away win doesn’t appeal for a side who have lost heavily at the other 3 teams in the top 4.
I think Castleford can win this comfortably by around 16-20 points, the handicap sees Huddersfield getting a 10 point start. They have lost by more than that at Saints, Wigan and Warrington.
James Clare at 10/1 would be my 1st try pick, Giants fans may look to Mcgilvary at 12/1.
