Tigers’ Matterson to the Eels or Titans

Out of favour Wests Tiger Ryan Matterson has reportedly met with the Parramatta Eels recently about potentially signing with the Western Sydney club.

Not only so the Eels have an open position in the second row as a result of Manu Ma’u heading to the Super League, the Eels have money to spend and Matterson is a Parramatta junior.

However, another club has also gained Matterson’s attention as 2019 wooden spooners the Gold Coast Titans have reportedly secured a meeting with the back rower that will take place next week.

The Titans are also a club with plenty of money to spend, however it is likely the Eels can afford to pay more for Matterson as the Titans are also rumoured to be looking at another Tiger in Josh Reynolds.
