Wests Tigers are apparently eyeing up premiership-winning coach Shane Flanagan to join the club from 2022.
That’s according to Fox Sports as Wests’ Michael Maguire continues to struggle.
Maguire has a contract that will run until the end of 2023, but the former Wigan boss has only steered Wests to six wins and 11 losses from the NRL’s 17 games so far.
There’s been a lot of rumours concerning Maguire’s tenure at the Tigers coming to an end after heavy losses to South Sydney and Melbourne, but a victory over Brisbane at the weekend did alleviate some pressure.
That being said, Wests appear ready for an all-out push for Flanagan to be given an opportunity to try and fix the Concord club.
