Overnight Fox League’s chief reporter James Hooper has reported that back-to-back premiership winner Latrell Mitchell could be headed to the Wests Tigers in 2021.
Hooper reports that the Tigers now have over $1,000,000 in salary cap space and could be offering Mitchell a deal that is worth in total around $3,000,000.
This news broke mere hours after the Sydney Roosters publicly announced that they had withdrawn their offer for the centre, due to Mitchell wishing to explore other others.
The Wests Tigers are also in need of a centre after recently releasing goal kicker Esan Marsters to the North Queensland Cowboys, and not only do the Tigers need a centre, they need a goal kicker and they get both in Latrell Mitchell.
