Tigers clear favourites to reach the 1/4 finals

Super League odds

Super League sponsors Betfred make Castleford 1/4 favourites to beat St Helens in Saturdays Cup tie , which is live on BBC1 .

Cas are near full strength as they have their England contingent back whilst Percival and Walmsley return for Saints .

The Tigers have struggled in a few games of late but mostly away from home and I fully expect them to win by more than the 12 point handicap line against an out of form Saints . St Helens beat Castleford on Easter Monday but that was at Langtree Park , the Tigers have won all their home games in Super League by more than the 12 point handicap line and St Helens have only won away once all season . There’s 9 points between these 2 in the table so the handicap line is justified .

The Fords 3 England players will be walking on cloud 9 after great performances against Samoa last week and you have to look to Gale being man of the match here , I’d look to Fages if the Red V are to pull off a shock .

It’s 3/1 for a Saints win but I fancy a home win by 16-20 points . It’s 1/2 for a home win on the half time full time and that’s fair enough given the Tigers form at home .

Eden and Minikin head 1st try lists at around 8/1 , Regan Grace is 14/1 to go over 1st . Swift is the favourite in Saints colours at 12/1 . There could be a bit of value in Mcmeeken for the 1st try at 20/1 .

Warrington v Widnes live on the Beeb tomorrow , as always please gamble responsibly .
