Throwback: Wigan St Pats player scores the fastest try in rugby league history

We love a good throwback at Serious About Rugby League and we think this one might be our favourite.

Back in May 2015, Wigan St Pats player Dean Hatton set an official world record thanks to scoring the fastest ever rugby league try in just 7.3 seconds.

A year later the try was certified as an official Guinness world record and is still yet to be broken.

Watch his quick-fire try against Egremont Rangers below.
