Recruitment is in full swing for 2024 and no doubt the clubs who don’t have a game this week will be busy behind the scenes to ensure they have a better chance of lifting the Challenge Cup, or any trophy, in 2024.
Many clubs often turn to the NRL for recruitment and one player who has been linked with a move to Super League has been Liam Knight.
The Australian prop has played for Manly Sea Eagles, Canberra Raiders but has spent the bulk of his career at South Sydney Rabbitohs making 65 appearances for the club.
So, with Knight potentially coming to the UK, which clubs could be interested?
Leeds Rhinos
Rohan Smith has been open about wanting to sign another middle for 2024. The Rhinos are set to lose Sam Walters to Wigan Warriors in 2024 so signing Knight would be a savvy signing.
Wigan Warriors
Wigan are signing Sam Walters to shake up their pack which is a key area for them to address in 2o24. Thus, a move for Knight would also be suited to the Warriors as well.
Hull FC
Hull FC are a club headed for a rebuild. Moreover, the Black and Whites will be looking for some strong middles with Chris Satae leaving. There have been reports Knight will make the move to the UK and the MKM Stadium would be a smart destination.
