Three Super League players who Hull FC boss Brett Hodgson could sign

May 1st has come and gone and now out-of-contract stars are able to talk and negotiate with other clubs.

That, of course, sends the rumour mill into overdrive with anybody and anyone linked at this time of year.

But, for Hull FC, who may be on Brett Hodgson’s radar going into 2023?

Eloi Pelissier – Toulouse Olympique

A number 9 with a reputation of feeding on a fast ruck, Eloi Pelissier would bring some aggression and physicality to the hooker’s role at Hull FC too. Pelissier has a wealth of Super League experience having been at the Catalans Dragons for six years at the start of his career.

Brad Dwyer – Leeds Rhinos

Rumoured to be on his way to St Helens, Brad Dwyer would be a perfect addition for Hull FC. On the back of a forward pack as big as Hull’s, Dwyer would thrive in the MKM Stadium environment and take his game to the next level. Likely to be moving out of Headingley at the end of the season, the number 9 would raise some eyebrows with the Black and Whites but he would soon prove his mettle.

Riley Dean – Warrington Wolves

Being behind both Gareth Widdop and George Williams in the halves at the Warrington Wolves can’t be easy, but Riley Dean has shown in his last few games that he is more than ready to step up to Super League level. With Hull FC desperate for another, younger halfback despite the prevalence of Ben McNamara, Dean could be the answer.
