Three Super League players suspended with fourth referred to tribunal

Wigan Warriors forward Ben Flower has been handed a two-match ban by the Match Review Panel.

Flower was placed on report for the incident during Sunday’s win over Hull KR. The incident left Matthew Storton with an ankle injury.

It could get even worse for the Warriors as Oliver Partington has been referred to the tribunal after being charged with Dangerous Contact.

The incident wasn’t seen by the on-field referee, but the Match Review Panel have charged Partington for his tackle on Rob Mulhern.

Elsewhere, Catalans Dragons fullback Sam Tomkins has been given a two match penalty notice for tripping. He was sent to the sin bin for the offence on Niall Evalds during their 30-14 win over Salford.
