Three Super League Players Charged

Three Super League Players Charged

Three players have been charged following the latest round of fixtures in the Betfred Super League and will face the Match Review Panel.

Danny Kirmond is charged with a Grade A High Tackle during the match against Leeds Rhinos on Friday night.

Kirmond was sent to the sin-bin for a late hit on Rob Burrow and with no Early Guilty Plea available, Wakefield must now wait on their skipper’s availability.

Their opponents this Thursday Leigh are also sweating over one of their stars after Glenn Stewart was charged with a Grade C High Tackle.

The Centurions forward, who has his EGP available, was sent to the sin-bin during Thursday’s clash with Warrington for a high tackle on Kevin Brown.

From the same game, Wolves winger Tom Lineham has been charged with Grade C Striking (EGP available) after an elbow on Ryan Hampshire that also saw him sent to the bin.
