Three Super League clubs who could sign NRL forward looking for a new club Emry Pere

There are over 20 players down under who are still looking for a new club in 2023.

One of them is Emry Pere. The former North Queensland Cowboys prop has previously represented the Maori All Stars as they drew 10-10 with a star studded Indigenous All Stars side led by the likes of Latrell Mitchell.

With NRL experience and power, Pere would make any Super League side a superb signing and they stand in a position to swoop for him as he looks for a new club.

Catalans Dragons
Catalans Dragons are looking for a prop after allowing the departure of Dylan Napa and losing out on ex-Salford Red Devils and Warrington Wolves prop Ben Murdoch-Masila to St George Illawarra Dragons. They have also lost the likes of Gil Dudson and Sam Kasiano so Pere would be a great reinforcement.

Salford Red Devils
Salford have one quota spot left in 2023 after the departure of former Warrington prop Sitaleki Akauola to Toulouse Olympique. Having lost a prop, the arrival of a new one would be ideal. He would fit the bill for the Red Devils who are the land of second opportunities in rugby league.

Leigh Leopards
The Leopards have been looking for a middle forward since they added 10 new names to their side following their rebrand and this was revealed by Derek Beaumont on Twitter. They also now appear to have a quota spot following the departure of Nene MacDonald to Leeds Rhinos and Blake Ferguson on compassionate grounds.
