Three Super League clubs who could poach Kyle Evans if Wakefield Trinity don’t re-sign him

Yesterday, despite being on the wrong side of a 32-6 scoreline, Kyle Evans stole the show.

The former rugby union winger who has only been in Super League for a matter of months produced some huge tackles including one which led to the opening try of the game where he was given an inside ball and showed great strength and speed to evade defenders and storm through for the try.

It led to huge praise for the winger and questions over why Wakefield are yet to re-sign him. So, should he not stay at Trinity, here’s three potential Super League destinations for the exciting winger.

St Helens
What a move this would be for him, and it would be ideal. A player with great raw potential due to his physical strengths, at a club like St Helens they could really develop him into a great winger. The Saints need a winger and he could be an able back-up to youngster Jon Bennison as the two battle it out for a place on the left wing.

Castleford Tigers
After the departure of Derrell Olpherts, Castleford could very well look to bring in another winger to add more depth to the position. Like the other wingers at the Jungle, Evans has great physicality which would make him an ideal signing.

Salford Red Devils
After a great season in 2022, the next step for Salford is adding squad depth to their impressive side and a signing like Evans would certainly give them that to ensure that injuries don’t derail any play-off push in 2023.
