Hull KR have confirmed the departures of influential trio Josh Drinkwater, Chris Atkin and James Greenwood at the end of the season.
Halfback Drinkwater has been ever-present for the Robins in 2019 after signing from Catalans at the start of the season, scoring six tries.
Atkin made his debut for the club in 2017 after signing from Swinton Lions on a two-and-a-half year deal and has gone on to make over 50 appearances.
Greenwood has spent the past five-years KR, playing 92 games after first arriving on loan from Wigan. The past 12-months, however, have been blighted by an ACL injury, seeing him make just five appearances in 2019.
“I’ve enjoyed my time with all three of those young men in terms of working and alongside them,” said Rovers coach Tony Smith.
“Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to coach James but he’s been a pleasure around the place and a professional in terms of how he’s been rehabbing. Chris and Josh have been tremendous and I wish them well in their future careers.
“It’s been a short but enjoyable time spent with them on my behalf but we all wish them the best of luck in the future.”
