Three forwards Leigh Leopards could sign including NRL star and former Leeds Rhinos man

After they announced 10 major signings in one day, Derek Beaumont said their business wasn’t over and revealed that former Wakefield Trinity coach and Leigh Director of Rugby was in the market for a new middle forward.

Now they have even more cap space and a quota spot after the departure of Nene MacDonald to Leeds Rhinos and of course the departure of Blake Ferguson on compassionate grounds.

Now, they could make a move and bring in a top notch forward to complete their squad.

Marty Taupau
It was revealed today by Rugby League Live that Super League clubs are keeping tabs on Marty Taupau despite the fact five NRL clubs are chasing him because salary cap uncertainty is preventing any clubs from making a move. Thus, Leigh Leopards could offer him security in 2023 by signing him and he would be the ideal signing for the Leopards.

Dylan Napa
Catalans Dragons released Dylan Napa by mutual consent last week and the former NRL Champion is now looking for a new club after just one season with the Dragons in 2022 after joining from the Canterbury Bulldogs. He would be another ideal signing.

Ava Seaumanufagai
Speaking of ex-Canterbury players, Seaumanufagai left the club in November and was rumoured to be returning to Super League having won the Challenge Cup in 2020 with Leeds Rhinos. His Super League experience would make him a superb signing.
