Three clubs who could sign NRL winger looking for new side including Super League team

Latest news involving a former Leeds Rhinos and Hull KR player.

2023 may have already started by there are 20 players down under still looking for a new club.

This leaves the door open for Super League and Championship sides to make a move on those stars still looking for security at the start of the year.

One of those players is former Parramatta Eels winger Solomone Naiduki, who can also play at centre. Where could he end up in 2023?

Leigh Leopards
There is one Super League side looking for a winger in Leigh Leopards after the loss of Blake Ferguson on compassionate grounds. They have also had success in the past when signing players who have had limited NRL experience such as Featherstone Rovers bound Caleb Aekins of Leeds Rhinos’ signing Nene MacDonald. Thus, they could make a move for Naiduki to replace Ferguson.

Halifax Panthers
Yesterday, Simon Grix explained that he had a skinny squad and that he was only a few injuries away from having a problem. He also said the club were looking for further opportunities to sign players and someone who can play centre and wing may be a smart signing.

Toulouse Olympique
Following the loss of Matty Russell back to Warrington Wolves, the French side may consider making a move for a winger ahead of the 2023 Championship season and Naiduki could fit the bill perfectly.
