Those Warrington Wolves stars who are free to join other Super League clubs

With the time for wheeling and dealing very much underway throughout the tiers of rugby league, contracts are being signed left, right and centre.

For some players, though, it is a time of anxiety and trying to put themselves in the shop window in order to attract any potential suitors.

For Warrington Wolves head coach Daryl Powell, it’s a case of a huge rebuild as he attempts to put his own stamp on the squad with a whole host of players leaving or set to leave.

The full list of those out of contract are:

Josh Charnley, Jack Hughes, Eribe Doro, Billy Magoulias, Greg Minikin, Mike Cooper, Stefan Ratchford, Riley Dean, Jason Clark, Matt Davis, Robbie Mulhern, Gareth Widdop, Jacob Gannon.

Rob Butler and Ellis Robson have already departed the Halliwell Jones whilst Josh Charnley and Eribe Doro will no longer be Wire players in 2023 either.

Mike Cooper has been linked with a move to the Wigan Warriors, whilst there are question marks over Hughes, Magoulias, Minikin, Ratchford, Dean, Clark, Davis, Mulhern, Widdop and Gannon.

It remains to be seen, of those, who Powell will want to keep around at Warrington with Hughes the captain, whilst Magoulias and Minikin are both players the former Castleford Tigers boss brought in himself.
