Those St Helens stars who are free to join other Super League clubs

With the time for wheeling and dealing very much underway throughout the tiers of rugby league, contracts are being signed left, right and centre.

For some players, though, it is a time of anxiety and trying to put themselves in the shop window in order to attract any potential suitors.

For St Helens, it is not expected to be too much chopping and changing following another season at the top, but there may be some slight changes in there for Kristian Woolf.

Whether or not Woolf signs another deal at the Totally Wicked Stadium also remains to be seen, but Saints do have one of the longest list of off-contract players.

The full list is:

James Roby, Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Regan Grace, Kyle Amor, Matty Foster, Dan Norman, Josh Simm, Sam Royle, Aaron Smith, Konrad Hurrell.

It may well be Roby’s final hurrah in a Saints shirt after an incredible career, whilst Grace has been linked with a move to rugby union.

Amor will be a Widnes Vikings player in 2023 whilst there are still question marks over the futures of Foster, Norman, Simm, Royle, Smith and Hurrell, though the latter has reiterated his desire to stay at the Merseyside club.
