With the time for wheeling and dealing very much underway throughout the tiers of rugby league, contracts are being signed left, right and centre.
For some players, though, it is a time of anxiety and trying to put themselves in the shop window in order to attract any potential suitors.
Castleford Tigers head coach Lee Radford has already revealed that Cheyse Blair will be leaving the club, whilst Cain Robb has recently signed a new deal.
Halfback Jake Trueman is also being heavily linked with a move to Hull FC after six seasons at the Jungle, but Radford still has a lot of tinkering to do to his squad ahead of the 2023 Super League season.
Among those free to join other clubs, following the culmination of their deals are:
Cheyse Blair, James Clare, Greg Eden, Sosaia Feki, Mahe Fonua, George Griffin, Sam Hall, Brad Martin, Suaia Matagi, Derrell Olpherts, Lewis Peachey, Danny Richardson, and Jake Trueman.
With the Tigers having an abundance of wingers, it is unlikely that Radford will want to keep Clare, Eden, Feki and Olpherts, whilst a complete overhaul of the halfback partnership of Richardson and Trueman could be split up both ways.
Kenny Edwards is, of course, on a season-long loan from Huddersfield Giants, but he has looked mightily impressive since joining Castleford.
