“The worst set of highlights I’ve ever seen” – how social media reacted to Warrington Wolves’ new NRL signing

Warrington Wolves announced the signing of Billy Magoulias last night after playing all of his career so far at the Cronulla Sharks.

The 24-year-old has registered 17 appearances in three seasons for the Sharks, but will now head to the Halliwell Jones in a bid for regular gametime under new head coach Daryl Powell.

But, how did social media react?

One Warrington fan was horrified by the highlight reel given out by the Warrington club’s social media.

Again, the highlight reel left a lot to be desired for this Wire supporter.

In fact, that seemed to be the most common thing that Warrington fans took away from this announcement.

Even a Widnes fan was complimentary on the signing, just not the highlights reel.
