The top five flair players currently in Super League

What is a flair player? Long story short, it is a match winner and a player who can conjure something from nothing.

So, here’s the top five flair players currently in Super League.

5. Brad Dwyer – Hull FC
When you consider players who can create something from nothing, Brad Dwyer has to be one of the names that springs to mind. His pace out of dummy half can catch teams out. He created the match winner against Huddersfield Giants last year for Leeds Rhinos and was key in their dramatic comeback win over Catalans Dragons as he helped Leeds to Old Trafford.

4. Mikey Lewis – Hull KR
A player who can create a moment of magic and win a game on his own, his hat-trick against Hull FC last year epitomises his flair. He is the master at the chip over the top as we have seen in 2021 and 2022.

3. Jake Connor – Huddersfield Giants
A creative spark, he made 33 assists in 2022 toping the league and in 2021 he was at the top of the pile as well. He is the most creative player in Super League and brings great flair to his new side.

2. Bevan French – Wigan Warriors
Speed to burn and great skill. If you want someone to win a game for you, you would turn to Bevan French. His elusive runs can carve open any defence.

1. Jai Field – Wigan Warriors
The only other player you would turn to the most in an attacking situation, Field has the same speed and evasion but at fullback he can also conjure up moments of magic for others. This sees him at the top.
