The major announcement every Super League club will make ahead of 2024

The new year is upon us and the new Super League season is simply weeks away.

But before the new season starts there are still plenty of big announcements to be made. So we have taken a look at the major announcement every side will make before the start of 2024.

Castleford Tigers: Stadium Redevelopment
Castleford Tigers have now all but finished in terms of recruitment ahead of the new Super League season but their biggest developments have come off the field with the Tigers drafting in a new investor in Martin Jepson. This should pave the way for the Tigers really getting their stadium redevelopment underway.

Catalans Dragons: Swap deal
Catalans Dragons have had their recruitment plans tied up by their final quota spot being taken by Siua Taukeiaho after his move to Canterbury Bulldogs collapsed due to a failed medical. This has seen him take the final quota spot but the French club are exploring the possibility of a swap deal with an NRL club.

Huddersfield Giants: Tui Lolohea new deal
This may not come until after the start of the new season but the club are very well set up for the new year and the next step is keeping things in place for 2025 and beyond so tying down Tui Lolohea is a must.

Hull FC: Outside back signed
Owner Adam Pearson spoke about wanting to sign another outside back in the off-season and with options like Lee Kershaw and Joe Burgess on the market they will surely explore this avenue.

Hull KR: Stand redevelopment plans
If finances allow, Hull KR are going to add to their East Stand to accommodate their growing fan base as the club goes from strength to strength.

Leeds Rhinos: Harry Newman new deal
Newman may not be out of contract until the end of the 2024 Super League season but Leeds are already in talks with the centre to fend off interest. Leeds are in pole position and will look to sign him to a new deal ahead of the new season.

Leigh Leopards: Tristan Sailor
This signing is still yet to be confirmed but it seems inevitable that the the fullback will sign for the Leopards ahead of the new Super League season.

London Broncos: Further signings
The club are still yet to announce the arrival of Karl Lawton and other signings are likely to come through the door in the capital.

Salford Red Devils: A prop and winger signed
With Joe Burgess now set to leave, Salford are in the market for both a winger and a prop and the Red Devils are likely to sign both ahead of the new season.

St Helens: Lewis Dodd new deal
Still without a centre, at present it feels like St Helens are more likely to start the year with a vacant number three shirt. Their focus is presently on keeping Lewis Dodd who will be offered a new deal.

Warrington Wolves: Rodrick Tai extension
Before even arriving in the UK, Warrington had to accept there was interest from the NRL in their new signing and should he impress in pre-season his deal will likely be extended.

Wigan Warriors: World Club Challenge Sell Out
With 15,000 tickets already sold, Wigan Warriors are set to sell out the DW Stadium for the World Club Challenge against Penrith Panthers.
