The five young stars set to take Super League by storm in 2023

Every year there are young players who take the league by storm.

But which players are ready to take Super League by storm in 2023?

Levi Edwards – Leeds Rhinos
According to Rohan Smith, the highly thought of youngster has been “training the house down” and with doubts over centres Nene MacDonald and Harry Newman at the start of the season, he has the perfect opportunity to cement himself.

Zach Fishwick – Hull KR
He made his debut last year at the Magic Weekend against Hull FC at the Magic Weekend and he is ready to kick on again in 2023. He could be a serious weapon for the Robins in 2023.

Lewis Murphy – Wakefield Trinity
After a breakout year in 2022, it is time for the exciting Lewis Murphy to kick on and continue to show that he is the heir to Tom Johnstone.

Jon Bennison – St Helens
Already a try scorer in a Grand Final win, Jon Bennison could now follow the same career trajectory as Jack Welsby. Capable of playing fullback or on the wing he would be a star player for the Saints in 2023 after being given the number five shirt.

Ellis Longstaff – Salford Red Devils
After his breakout year at Warrington Wolves in 2021, he showed his class with Hull FC in 2022 and joins Salford Red Devils in 2023 and under Paul Rowley we could see the best of him.
