The five Super League teams with the best outside backs

Your outside backs can win you games due to the quality they possess.

But who has the best outside backs in Super League.

Here’s our top five.

5. Catalans Dragons
Tom Davis, Adam Keighran, Matthieu Laguerre, Fouad Yaha, Tom Johnstone, TBC
When you have three wingers as good as Tom Davis, Fouad Yaha and Tom Johnstone, you have an embarrassment of riches. Adam Keighran, a big signing from the NRL only adds further quality and more will be on its way.

4. Huddersfield Giants
Jermaine McGillvary, Esan Marsters, Kevin Naiqama, Jake Bibby, Innes Senior, Leroy Cudjoe
Jermaine McGillvary has been one of the best wingers in Super League for some time and he is now joined by frequent try scorer Jake Bibby. They have also drafted in two star centres including three-time Super League Champion Kevin Naiqama.

3. Leeds Rhinos
David Fusitu’a, Harry Newman, Nene MacDonald, Ash Handley, Derrell Olpherts, Liam Tindall
When fit, Harry Newman could be considered not only the best centre but potentially the best player in Super League. Leeds have two top class wingers in Handley and Fusitu’a and an exciting new centre in Nene MacDonald. Meanwhile, Derrell Olpherts is a superb and versatile backup.

2. Wigan Warriors
Bevan French, Jake Wardle, Toby King, Liam Marshall, Iain Thornley
Last season Bevan French and Liam Marshall scored tries for fun and now that the superb Jake Wardle and Toby King have been added into the mix, Wigan should have added extra potency. They are two signings who can score and create tries.

1. St Helens
Tommy Makinson, Will Hopoate, Mark Percival, Jon Bennison, Konrad Hurrell, Tee Ritson
When you don’t have Konrad Hurrell in either the number three or four shirts, then you have a vert strong squad. In Tommy Makinson and Mark Percival they might have the best winger and centre in Super League. Whilst the inexperienced Jon Bennison and Tee Ritson have huge potential and attacking threat.
