The five best goal kickers currently in Super League

The reason we go back every week to watch Super League again and again is the scintillating tries, however goal kicks can often prove the difference and have done so in the past in Grand Finals.

But which kickers are the best in Super League at present?

5. Lachlan Coote – Hull KR
When in a St Helens shirt, he kicked the goal that won the 2021 Grand Final for the Saints against Catalans Dragons. This shows he can step up when the pressure is on when it comes to goal kicks.

4. Mason Lino – Wakefield Trinity
The former holder of the record for the most goals kicked in a row without missing in Super League and the NRL when he kicked 37 goals in a row in 2021. More often than not, you can trust him.

3. Danny Richardson – Castleford Tigers
A big part of St Helens’ success in 2018, he was trusted to nail more kicks than he would miss and step up when the pressure is on. He has continued to show this at Castleford.

2. Marc Sneyd – Salford Red Devils
One of the best goalkickers in Super League history. He has a unique stance when it comes to nailing goal kicks from out wide. He is one of those that you would back when the pressure is on.

1. Rhyse Martin – Leeds Rhinos
You can’t argue with a World Record. Rhyse Martin kicked 41 goals in a row without missing in 2022 as he helped Leeds Rhinos to Old Trafford. He holds the Super League record as consequence and went on to equal the World Record held by Liam Finn and Jamie Ellis in the Rugby League World Cup for Papua New Guinea.
