Yesterday, it was revealed by the Examiner Live that Catalans Dragons were set to sign Adam Keighran.
That has now been corroborated by reports from down under, namely Fox League.
They have also provided further details on the move which will see the versatile Aussie fill one of the three remaining quota spots left at the Stade Gilbert Brutus for 2023.
According to Fox League, Keighran will only sign a one-year deal at the club leaving the door open for him to make a swift return to the NRL should he want to.
It will be interesting to see what position Steve McNamara wants him to play.
After the loss of Josh Drinkwater to Warrington Wolves yesterday, the Dragons lost a halfback and have also moved on their first choice centres from 2021-22 in the shape of Samisoni Langi and Dean Whare.
So, the French club need centres and a halfback before the season begins.
They are also said to be interested in fellow Sydney Roosters star Jared Waerea-Hargreaves for 2023 again according to reports down under.
This interest sparked during the Rugby League World Cup and began after reports that the Dragons were willing to offload Josh Drinkwater and Dylan Napa, a former Rooster, who doesn’t have a club yet for 2023 if he does leave Perpignan.
He has only spent one year at Catalans.
