Tenured Bronco retires

This morning it was announced that Brisbane Broncos veteran Matt Gillett is retiring effective immediately.

This is the second time in two days that a seasoned NRL star has announced their retirement due to medical reasons.

Gillett played 200 games for the Brisbane Broncos, scoring 58 tries and was a one club man.

Gillett also represented Queensland in State of Origin on 20 occasions and represented Australia on 12 occasions.
