Sydney Roosters have announced that highly-rated youngsters Sitili Tupouniua (above) and Sam Verrills have signed new three-year deals with the club.
Back rower Tupouniua, 23, made his senior debut in 2018 after graduating through the academy and has gone on to make 37 appearances, becoming a regular feature in the side.
Hooker Verrills, 21, will return in 2021 after missing most of last season with an ACL injury. Prior to that he played 19 games after debuting in 2019, scoring the opening try in the Roosters’ Grand Final win that year.
Roosters head coach Trent Robinson said: “Sam and Sitili are genuinely good people and I’ve loved watching their development over the last few years.
