Leeds Rhinos have announced a groundbreaking partnership with AMT Auto, a Leeds-based vehicle solutions company. The partnership will see the Rhinos’ home stadium, Headingley Rugby Stadium, renamed as the AMT Headingley Rugby Stadium from December 1st, 2023.
This is only the fourth time in the stadium’s 133-year history that the club has allowed naming rights. The 15-year partnership is the largest commercial deal in the club’s history.
Established in 1995 by Neil McGawley, AMT Auto is an independent, family-owned business that offers a range of vehicle solutions, including Rent-Lease-Buy-Sell-Insure, for all types of vehicles and customers. With its headquarters in Leeds and additional outlets in London, Birmingham, and Edinburgh, AMT employs over 150 people and is one of the fastest-growing businesses in Yorkshire.
In addition to the Rhinos, AMT Auto is a proud partner of Leeds United and Yorkshire County Cricket in the city.
What is the capacity of Leeds Rhinos Stadium?
Leeds Rhinos have one the best and now most modern stadiums in Super League. The ground continues to have a capacity of around 22,000.
The ground was redeveloped at the end of the 2010s. After a game against St Helens in 2017 the famous South Stand was knocked down before at the end of the season the North Stand was also demolished.
These two now perfectly merge with the Eastern Terraces which were rebuilt in 2006 creating one of the best stadiums in Super League.
