Surprise player tops the points scoring on Super League Fantasy League

The Super League Fantasy League game is often a good measure of how players are performing in the Super League campaign.

After five rounds Super League have revealed the top 10 Super League Fantasy points scorers.

In a bit of a surprise, Leeds Rhinos star Cameron Smith is top with 359 points from the first five points.

This is perhaps due to the number of tackles Smith gets through as well as the fact he has picked up two tries, makes plenty of metres as well as half breaks.

Unsurprisingly, second place in the Man of Steel rankings George Williams is second for points here whilst Paul Vaughan who has been brilliant this season making plenty of metres.

Salford Red Devils star Andy Ackers’ underappreciated form to start the season hasn’t gone unnoticed with him in fourth.

Salford teammate Kallum Watkins is eighth whilst Brad Fash of Hull FC completes the top 10.

Daryl Clark is in fifth making it three Warrington players in the top five.

Leigh Leopards’ John Asiata is ninth whilst Jai Whitbread of Wakefield Trinity is sixth despite Wakefield remaining winless.

The top 10 is complete with Wigan Warriors halfback Harry Smith included.
