Surprise as in form Leeds Rhinos man set to feature in Championship this week

Bradford Bulls Head coach Mark Dunning has named his 21-Man Squad for Monday’s huge derby with the Halifax Panthers.

Kieran Gill and Bodene Thompson could return following their respective absences, having been named in the 21-Man Squad.

David Foggin-Johnston misses out due to a slight knee problem sustained in the Challenge Cup victory over Midlands Hurricanes last time out.

Jack Bibby could make his Bulls bow following his loan move from Huddersfield Giants – with Leeds Rhinos’ trio Luis Roberts, James Donaldson and Sam Walters joining on dual-registration.

The inclusion of James Donaldson and Sam Walters in interesting given they were both names in Leeds’ 21-man squad for the game against Huddersfield Giants.

The inclusion of Sam Walters is a surprise after the young forward has been in terrific form lately.

The big squad news was the fact the Rhinos have been able to name star winger Ash Handley.

Handley has been absent since an ankle injury against Wakefield Trinity in Round Four after he scored a length of the field effort against Champions St Helens.

Coach Rohan Smith revealed midweek that he had a chance of playing.

The other big news is the absence of new signing Derrell Olpherts.

The winger struggled against Hull KR last week in the rain and isn’t included. However, the fact he hasn’t been named for the Bulls would suggest he is injured.

David Fusitu’a is out for six to eight weeks after suffering “a decent ankle” injury last week.

Liam Tindall could replace him with a first appearance of the season after starring for Bradford Bulls on dual registration.

Leon Ruan could feature for the first time.
