Warrington Wolves are set to complete the signing of three major names ahead of their 2023 Super League season.

It’s been well documented just how much new inspiration Warrington need under new head coach Daryl Powell following a dismal start to 2022.

Just five wins from a possible 13 epitomises how difficult Powell has had it at the Halliwell Jones Stadium since making the move from Castleford Tigers, where he spent almost a decade at the helm.

But, according to the Daily Telegraph, the rebuild at the Cheshire club is starting now as they tie down three monster signatures for next season.

One of those is Canterbury Bulldogs livewire Matt Dufty who has struggled at Belmore since his arrival on a one-year deal from the St George Illawarra Dragons.

The second is Wests Tigers forward Thomas Mikaele who, at just 24 years of age, has a brilliant future ahead of him with Warrington getting him in the prime of his rugby league career.

And, the third is Catalans Dragons prop Sam Kasiano, who has built a reputation for himself in recent seasons for being one of the most destructive forwards in Super League.

It’s a huge message from Powell to his side and rivals: that if you’re not performing you will not be here in 2023.
