Super League weather forecasts: Is there hope that your side’s game could go ahead?

Leeds Rhinos vs Wakefield Trinity is officially on.

But what about the other fixtures?

We have taken a look at all the weather forecasts for the other three games to give an indication of whether or not the game has hope of being played.

Huddersfield Giants vs Castleford Tigers
In Huddersfield the snow is set to persist until 11am. Then from 11-12 it is cloudy with some sun before in the afternoon from 13:00 all the way to 18:00 there is sun. However, one problem might be that it will be -3 degrees by the time the game kicks off and approaching -4 by the game’s conclusion so a frozen pitch could be a problem.

Hull KR vs Warrington Wolves
Over in Hull the snow will again persist till 11. However, there is then strong winds due from 11 until two o’clock in the afternoon though the temperature is set to reach 5 degrees which may help with the melting of snow. At 15:00 there is to be clouds and sun before solid sun until 18:00. Unlike Huddersfield, temperatures won’t drop below 0 until the end of the game.

Leigh Leopards vs St Helens
The weather forecast in Leigh is the most favourable. There has been now snow and sun will be out from 11 all the way to 18:00 with a high of 6 degrees. Like Hull, the pitch shouldn’t freeze with temperatures to stay above 0 until after the game.
