Super League TV details for Channel 4 bonanza coverage

After waiting a month for the next fix of Channel 4’s coverage of Super League, viewers will now be treated to a bonanza with two games in two weeks.

Hull KR will take on Catalans Dragons on Saturday 21st May live on the terrestrial broadcaster, with Castleford Tigers hosting Wigan Warriors on Saturday June 4th.

Castleford Tigers’ home game against Wigan at the Jungle will be hosted by Helen Skelton.

Skelton, who took over from Adam Hills as he travelled to Australia, will also be back on Saturday June 4.

It’s major news considering Adam Hills was expected to take over for Hull KR’s fixture against Catalans Dragons on Saturday May 26 and perhaps points to the long-term plans of the broadcaster, with Hills still in Australia.

June 4 promises to be a landmark day for Channel 4 as they will show the England men’s football team for the first time in their UEFA Nations League game against Hungary following the Betfred Super League match, with Castleford and Wigan taking precedence earlier on in the day.

Channel 4 has come in for some big praise from viewers in recent months, with the punditry and commentary line-up earning rave reviews.
