The final game of the round came at the Halliwell Jones Stadium where Warrington Wolves defeated Bradford Bulls 26-12 in the scorching sun.

Super League Round 12 Team of the Week
Full-back: Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e (Castleford Tigers)
After a horror debut two games ago, PLT has now found his feet at the Tigers and against St Helens was a key man in their shock win.
Playing a part in all three of Jason Qareqare’s tries, the speedster picked up two assists and ran for 171 metres throughout the afternoon.
Wingers: Jason Qareqare (Castleford Tigers) and Josh Charnley (Leigh Leopards)
Speaking of Qareqare, his three scores put him in this list as he racked up his ninth try of the season and second hat-trick.
Charnley also dotted down for three, as the veteran also ran for 161 metres in his attempts to try and pass Ryan Hall as the all-time Super League top try scorer by the end of the season.
Centres: Josh Smith (Warrington Wolves) and Umyla Hanley (Leigh Leopards)
Sky Sports’ Player of the Match on Sunday went to centre Smith, who thoroughly deserved it after a stormer of a performance that included an assist, two line breaks, 23 tackles and 171 metres.
Leopards centre Hanley had his best game of the season so far, touching down for his first try of the season, as well as bagging two assists and 142 metres from 10 carries.
Halves: Brodie Croft (Leeds Rhinos) and Lachlan Lam (Leigh Leopards)
After it was announced he would be leaving Leeds at the end of the season, Croft played like he had a point to prove to the Rhinos faithful, and that he did. Scoring one and assisting two more, he also produced an excellent try-saving tackle to stop Connor Carr from scoring in the corner.
Both Leigh halves deserve to be in the Team of the Week, but Lam edges it on the fact he scored and got three assists. However, Adam Cook proved to be just as influential, as the overseas pairing continues to develop as a partnership.
Props: Mikolaj Oledzki (Leeds Rhinos) and Tyler Dupree (Castleford Tigers)
Rhinos prop Oledzki crossed for the first try double of his career on Friday night, running some excellent lines to see him go over untouched on both occasions. Credit also needs to go to Cooper Jenkins, who had a brilliant performance capped off by two line breaks, both of which led to tries.
Dupree found form of old against St Helens, and was rampant in the middle of the Tigers pack. Making eight tackle busts, he ran for 111 metres from 14 carries, with one of those carries resulting in a line break.
Hooker: Jez Litten (Hull KR)
Litten showed his brilliant form once again, and did so just days before another Challenge Cup Final. The Robins were up against significantly weaker opposition than they were expecting against Wigan, and that allowed the likes of Litten, Mikey Lewis and Jack Broadbent to rack up some impressive stats, with Litten scoring a try, assisting two more and making an average of 12 metres per carry.
Back row: Zac Lipowicz (Catalans Dragons) and James McDonnell (Leeds Rhinos)
Lipowicz was part of the Dragons’ victory over York Knights, and makes the list purely for his sublime assist to Solomona Faataape’s try. A no-look out-the-back-door pass sent the centre over for a score, in one of the plays of the season so far.
Rhinos back rower McDonnell also makes the team this week after a try, an assist and 30 tackles – only one behind Cameron Smith who was top of Leeds’ charts.

Loose Forward: George Lawler (Castleford Tigers)
Plenty questionned the strength and aggression of the Tigers pack at the start of the season, and at times those anxieties have been proved to be true. However, against Saints they were by far the better side, with Lawler joining Dupree in one of their more influential middles.
Back rower Alex Mellor and prop Joe Stimson also had great games, the task for Ryan Carr’s side now is to back it up following the break for the Challenge Cup Final.
