Well, another rip-roaring weekend of Super League action is done and dusted.
The fixtures began on Thursday night with Huddersfield Giants overcoming Wigan Warriors – the Challenge Cup Final clash that will occur less than a fortnight in the near future.
St Helens then put Hull FC to the sword on Friday night with an emphatic win before Warrington Wolves were thrashed 40-8 by Catalans Dragons on Saturday evening.
Toulouse Olympique managed to grab their second win of the season with a hard-fought win over Wakefield Trinity on Sunday, as Salford Red Devils were victorious over Leeds Rhinos, 23-8.
Castleford Tigers and Hull KR rounded off the weekend with the Tigers hammering their opponents in a 32-0 whitewash.
1. Ryan Hampshire – Castleford Tigers
In his first game back in Super League for months, Ryan Hampshire delivered some superb touches for Castleford in their triumph over Hull KR. The Tigers looked much more dangerous in attack with the former Wakefield man in the side.
2. Tommy Makinson – St Helens
What an accomplished performance from Tommy Makinson against Hull. The winger scored a double and kicked four goals from five as he more than underlined his England credentials.
3. Konrad Hurrell – St Helens
Konrad Hurrell has been criticised for his defence in recent months and years, but he delivered against Hull FC on Friday night. The Tongan powerhouse was also in rampant mood in attack, setting up a wonderful try for Jonny Lomax
4. Ricky Leutele – Huddersfield Giants
Yet another week, yet another appearance from Ricky Leutele after a superb performance against Wigan on Thursday night. The powerful centre looks to be really at home at the John Smith’s Stadium.
5. Mark Percival – St Helens
Chosen out of position at wing for St Helens’ win over Hull FC, Mark Percival was in inspired form. He shut off two possible tries for the Black and Whites.
6. Mitchell Pearce – Catalans Dragons
Mitchell Pearce seems to be growing into the Catalans ethos with every passing game and he helped carve up Warrington on numerous occasions on Saturday night.
7. Marc Sneyd – Salford Red Devils
Salford Red Devis overcame Leeds Rhinos when not many gave them a chance, but a great part of their victory was down to halfback Marc Sneyd who ran rings around the Red Devils’s opponents.
8. Gil Dudson – Catalans Dragons
Another big performance from Gil Dudson as Catalans dominated Warrington down the middle in a 40-8 thrashing.
9. Andy Ackers – Salford Red Devils
Salford destroyed Leeds down the middle and around the ruck and a great part of that was Andy Ackers whose sniping from dummy-half proved key.
10. Liam Watts – Castleford Tigers
He’s quickly become Castleford’s most important forwards in recent years and Liam Watts was at his devastating best against Hull KR.
11. Kenny Edwards – Castleford Tigers
Perhaps Castleford’s greatest signing ahead of the 2022 signing, Kenny Edwards has been in scintillating form and he produced a moment of magic for his own try against Hull KR.
12. Harvey Livett – Salford Red Devils
He returned from injury with a bang as Salford put Leeds to the sword with ease with a 23-8 win.
13. Joe Westerman – Castleford Tigers
If Kenny Edwards is Castleford’s greatest signing of 2022, then Joe Westerman must run him close. Another big performance from the loose forward in the Tigers’ fixture against Hull KR.

14. Danny Addy – Salford Red Devils
A great win for Salford against Leeds was epitomised by Danny Addy’s great cameo off the bench.

He has had a number of suitors in the past year and Justin Sangare’s stock will have gone up considerably following Toulouse’s win over Wakefield Trinity.
16. Jack Brown – Hull FC
When Hull FC were down on their haunches and needed some inspiration off the bench, Hull born-and-bred Jack Brown provided just that.
17. Matty Nicholson – Wigan Warriors
