Wakefield Trinity have welcomed back key players from injury ahead of today’s must-win game against York Knights, whilst Warrington Wolves have also confirmed their matchday squad to take on Hull FC.
Trinity had been competing for the League Leaders Shield but three losses in a row means they’re now more focused on simply landing a home play-off clash, and a win today at home to York would go a long way to securing that.
They could still place third given that they will take on third-place Warrington Wolves next week, with Wire also in action this evening as they head to face Hull FC at the MKM Stadium.
Sam Burgess’ side have shot up the table on account of their strong form in recent weeks with the return of talisman George Williams a timely one.
The team news is in for all four teams in action with several changes made across the board.

Hull FC versus Warrington Wolves
Sam Burgess makes three changes to his side, albeit only one to the starting XIII and that sees Josh Thewlis start at full-back ahead of youngster Lachlan Webster.
Kelepi Tanginoa, who has had minutes managed recently, drops out alongside Jordy Crowther as Joe Philbin and Luke Thomas offer the power off the bench in their place.
Andy Last makes two changes as he starts Tom Briscoe over Arthur Romano, with the Frenchman playing off the bench, whilst Lloyd Kemp comes onto the bench ahead of Will Hutchinson in the only actual personnel change.

Daryl Powell had confirmed mid-week that all of Tom Johnstone, Mason Lino, Jay Pitts and Isaiah Vagana were fit after being named to the 21-man squad and two of those return, with Pitts starting at loose on his 450th career appearance, whilst Lino plays off the bench.
Jazz Tevaga is another to return as he comes back from suspension, whilst the likes of Matty Storton (MCL), Tray Lolesio (hamstring) and Oli Pratt (hamstring) all drop out through injury. Emre Guler is another to drop out and Harvey Smith starts at hooker ahead of Tyson Smoothy, who plays from the bench.
Mark Applegarth makes three changes as Ben Jones-Bishop, Liam Harris and Paul Vaughan all return, and there’s also a reshuffle.
Harris’ return sees Paul McShane move to hooker with Denive Balmforth shifted to loose forward, meaning Ata Hingano offers the utility option off the bench in the absence of Tom Inman, who drops out along with David Nofoaluma and Justin Sangare.
