Super League team news as Leeds Rhinos change made and Hull FC squad confirmed

Leeds Rhinos, Warrington Wolves, Hull FC and Catalans Dragons have all confirmed their 21-man squads for Sunday’s Super League action.

To celebrate the competition hitting it’s 30th birthday, the Rhinos-Wolves clash will take place to honour the opening round of the summer era, as the two sides faced off on this very weekend three decades ago.

That game forms part of a double header, with Hull hoping to earn their second win in a row after defeating Leeds last week. They welcome the Dragons who secured a late win against FC’s rivals Hull KR last weekend.

All four sides have confirmed their preliminary squads for that game, and their are some forced changes, particularly in that tie between the Black and Whites and Les Dracs.

Super League round six team news

Hull FC v Catalans Dragons:

The home side will be without Cade Cust, who misses this week through suspension. The half-back copped a one-game ban following the win over Brad Arthur’s side, so will be free to return next week.

The likes of Aidan Sezer, Herman Ese’ese, Jed Cartwright and Joe Batchelor all remain absent, so it will be another week where John Cartwright is forced to rely on his fringe and emerging players to get the two points.

For Catalans, they have made four changes, as three forwards drop out. Both Josh Allen and Julien Bousquet failed HIA’s last week, whilst Tiaki Chan has been recalled from his loan and will return to Wigan Warriors.

Lewis Dodd is named despite leaving the field last week through injury, whilst Mathieu Laguerre will miss the next six weeks with the foot injury that saw him leave the field last week.

Tommy Makinson, Alexis Lis, Leo Darrelatour and Ugo Tison come in for the Dragons.

Hull FC: Davy Litten, Zak Hardaker, Lewis Martin, Jake Arthur, Amir Bourouh, Harvie Hill, John Asiata, James Bell, Sam Lisone, Ligi Sao, Tom Briscoe, Arthur Romano, Connor Bailey, Brad Fash, Logan Moy, Matty Laidlaw, Callum Kemp, Will Hutchinson, Will Kirby, Ben Johnson, Lennon Clark

Leeds Rhinos v Warrington Wolves:

Brad Arthur has made just one change to his Leeds squad with Presley Cassell coming in for Ben Littlewood.

Ryan Hall remains in the side despite being left out of last week’s 17 in place of Chris Hankinson. Jack Bird made his club debut off the bench against FC, and is again named in the preliminary side.

As well as a thumping victory over Castleford Tigers, another positive from last week for Warrington was that they came through injury-free and Sam Burgess has named an unchanged squad
