Super League target’s most likely destination reported revealed

There are still plenty of high profile free agents both in England and Australia.

In Australia Marty Taupau is still looking for a club and has been for some time stirring up interest in Super League.

This was because the negotiations about the NRL’s salary cap continued to stall.

This has also stopped Josh Mansour from securing a new club ahead of 2023.

The former Penrith Panthers and South Syndey winger has been one of the best try scorers down under for the better part of a decade but these stalling negotiations are keeping clubs from signing him as they remain unsure about the future of the salary cap according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

As the NRL negotiations went on stalling any move for Taupau, a Super League switch become more likely as they could offer security ahead of 2023.

But today the salary cap was finally confirmed today at $12.1 million which frees up NRL clubs to make their move likely ending any Super League move for Taupau.

The Daily Telegraph has revealed that his likely destination will be 2022 Grand Finalists Parramatta Eels assuming their star man Nathan Brown heads to Wests Tigers as expected.

No destination has yet been suggested for Mansour though Sydney Roosters were interested in the past.
