Super League target Shaun Johnson has been told to find another club by incoming Cronulla Sharks boss Craig Fitzgibbon.
Phil ‘Buzz’ Rothfield broke the news in the Daily Telegraph that Shaun Johnson, Josh Dugan and Aaron Woods will all be leaving the Sharks at the end of 2021.
Johnson practically acknowledged that he wouldn’t be with Cronulla next year in an interview last week.
“I haven’t got anything set in stone on where I’m going to be next year at this point,” he said.
“It hasn’t been a worry of mine. I’ve just been focused on stringing games together.
“Everything is an option.
“All options are open and all I can control is getting back out on the park.”
