Super League stars banned as Leeds Rhinos player sent to tribunal

Super League club Huddersfield Giants have suffered a double blow ahead of the new Super League season with two key players hit with suspensions as the RFL reveal the disciplinary.

Former Leeds Rhinos and Salford Red Devils Tui Lolohea has been hit with a two game ban for the following:

“Dangerous Contact – Defender uses any part of their body forcefully to twist, bend or otherwise apply pressure to the limb or limbs of an opposing player in a way that involves an unacceptable risk of injury to that player.”

Teammate Leroy Cudjoe has been hit with a one match ban for: “Dangerous Throw/Lift.”

This is the second time in two weeks Huddersfield have been hit with a ban.

Leeds Rhinos youngster Joe Diskin has been referred to tribunal for head contact.
