Huddersfield Giants welcome Castleford Tigers to the John Smith’s tonight, with both teams looking to get back to winning ways.

The Giants have lost their last four matches, including last week’s 42-40 loss to Salford. Despite the
result, there were signs of improvement for Ian Watson’s side at the AJ Bell.

Huddersfield’s main issue this season has been in attack, however on Saturday they were able to piece
together good attacking sets and score plenty of points. They will be looking for a repeat of this
against the Tigers on Friday.

The team news is now in with the game kicking off at 19:45 in West Yorkshire.

Ian Watson has again been tasked to make some big calls in the spine with Nathan Peats back at hooker.

This sees Adam O’Brien drop to the bench and Tui Lolohea shift to fullback. He confirmed this week that he would definitely be with the Giants in 2024.

He played off the bench last week and his move to fullback sees Will Pryce miss out as Jake Connor and Theo Fages start in the halves.

Andy Last has also been tasked with making a big decision in the spine.

With Niall Evalds out for the foreseeable, Gareth Widdop returns to the side but at fullback.

Jack Broadbent moves to the halves alongside Jacob Miller.
