Fans were concerned about one of Super League’s best stars.
Catalans Dragons winger scored a delightful hat trick against Wigan Warriors as he continues to shine following his move from Wakefield Trinity.
He picked up the Man of the Match at the Magic Weekend and was interviewed frequently after the game and fans noticed a missing tooth.
However, the tooth wasn’t lost at the Magic Weekend.
The winger explained he had a dead tooth from last year and thus has a fake tooth.
The England international explained as such on social media:
“Basically I got it removed last year when it died after being hit in a game. I have a fake one but I don’t wear it during the match and didn’t have time to get it from the changing rooms before the interviews.”
Update on the missing tooth –

Johnstone was named in the Super League Team of the Week.
He featured alongside Matt Whitley.
The Dragons sit top of the league after their thumping triumph over Wigan at the Magic Weekend.
Many expected them to struggle in 2023 but the form of Johnstone and others has them doing brilliantly.
