The 21-man squads for Hull FC-Salford Red Devils, Huddersfield Giants-Warrington Wolves and Catalans Dragons-London Broncos have been confirmed ahead of Saturday’s Super League action.
It’s a round that will have huge implications in the fights for both top spot and the final play-off places, and in Saturday’s games, the main thing to play for will be Super League play-off spots.
Salford Red Devils hope to secure the best possible seeding, and Catalans Dragons look to keep up the pace as they have a tough task in order to finish sixth.
Huddersfield Giants vs Warrington Wolves
Chris Hill and Harry Rushton are unavailable for Huddersfield due to injury, meaning Jack Billington and Darius Carter return to the side. Adam Milner and Ashton Golding remain out injured.
The big question going into this game was Matt Dufty’s availability, after the full-back’s knee injury has kept him out since Magic Weekend.
Other potential boosts were returns for James Harrison and Stefan Ratchford.
Ratchford misses out, but Harrison and Dufty have been included in the 21-man squad, and therefore are in with a chance of playing on Saturday.
Lachlan Fitzgibbon misses out due to suspension.
Hull FC vs Salford Red Devils
For Hull FC, Jed Cartwright is out due to suspension, but Davy Litten returns to the squad after injury.
Ligi Sao and Tom Briscoe miss out due to injury and illness respectively, while Sam Eseh also drops out.
Jake Trueman will not play, and Simon Grix said this week: “He’s no chance this week, he’s not trained with us.
“It’ll be nice to see Trueman before the end but certainly this week it won’t be.”
Meanwhile, Salford see the return of Loghan Lewis after a groin injury, but Sam Stone is out through injury, while Amir Bourouh misses out against the side he will be representing in 2025.
Catalans Dragons vs London Broncos
Sam Tomkins is again in the squad for Catalans, and they welcome the returns of Chris Satae and Jordan Abdull.
London, meanwhile, have named an unchanged side to the one that narrowly lost to Huddersfield last week.
A number of players remain out due to injury, including Dean Parata, Bill Leyland and Alex Walker.
