Catalans Dragons’ captain Benjamin Garcia has suffered a low grade abductor strain following the French side’s Super League victory over Leigh on Saturday.
The 28-year-old – who was only made captain ahead of this season – exited the field as Catalans ran out 36-30 winners over the Centurions and has now had scans which has revealed the injury.
Garcia has made over 150 appearances for the Dragons since he debuted for the club back in 2013.
The club have not confirmed when the forward will return.
