One Super League side have made a move to sign a rising star of Bradford Bulls on a long-term deal ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Wakefield Trinity have moved to sign exciting outside back Jayden Myers on a three-year deal with the option of a fourth.
The 21-year-old will link up with the Super League side’s first team next week following his arrival with Trinity paying an ‘undisclosed fee’ to acquire Myers.
Myers played 27 times for Bradford in 2024, scoring 12 tries as he was nominated for Championship Young Player of the Year. His career tally stands at 39 appearances for the Bulls.
His signing was confirmed shortly after Wakefield Trinity announced their squad numbers for the 2025 season. Upon confirming Myers’ arrival, the Super League side revealed that he would wear number 30.
Both sides confirmed the move, Bradford Bulls announced: “Bradford Bulls can confirm Jayden Myers has joined Super League side Wakefield Trinity for an undisclosed fee with immediate effect.”

Speaking to former club Bradford on the move, Myers, who was contracted until the end of 2025, said: “I have really enjoyed my time at Bradford from starting at Scholarship level all the way up to First Team following my debut in 2022.
“The move has come about quickly and I wasn’t planning on leaving until 2026 but it is an exciting opportunity for me to further develop in a full-time environment.
“I’d like to thank the players, coaches and staff at Bradford for the support they have shown me and I wish them the best of luck moving forward.”
When speaking to his new club, the 21-year-old said: “I am delighted to be joining the full time environment at Wakefield Trinity, and I am eager to put my best foot forward and work hard and learn from the best.The move came around pretty quick and while I’m nervous I’m also very excited and ready to get started.”
Wakefield head coach, Daryl Powell, added: “I’ve got to watch Jayden a few times this year with us playing against Bradford a few times and identified him pretty early on as someone we’d like to bring to the club.
“I feel he’ll be an incredible signing for the club and I’m pleased to get him on board. Athletically he’s going to be someone who will go on to be incredibly exciting.”
