Huge Super League transfer reportedly confirmed

The likes of Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos, Warrington Wolves and Hull KR have already completed impressive signings for the 2024 Super League season.

The Rhinos have signed Catalans Dragons prop Mickael Goudemand for next year having missed out on Lachlan Fitzgibbon. He has joined Warrington Wolves out of a choice of five Super League clubs.

Hull KR have impressed with their signings for next year bringing in Oliver Gildart, Peta Hiku and AJ Wallace.

The only club who could argue that they have done better so far is the Wigan Warriors. They have brought in former Leeds and Huddersfield Giants star Kruise Leeming, Sam Walters and Tiaki Chan.

And they don’t appear to have finished at all.

According to The Mole of Wide World of Sports, the Warriors were interested in Dolphins centre Brenko Lee which could spell the end of one player’s time at the DW Stadium.

The Tongan international and Queensland representative joined the NRL’s newest club for their inaugural season and according to the Notorious Mole, the club risk losing him to Wigan Warriors.

However, he was not the only centre Wigan are chasing however with former Sydney Roosters centre Adam Keighran also of interest according to L’Independent.

The centre has been one of the signings of the season over in Perpignan.

It has now been reported by Jenna Brooks on Sky Sports that Adam Keighran is set to sign for the Warriors “imminently.”

This comes with Toby King expected to return to Warrington Wolves after a loan spell at Wigan which has been successful.

However, it seems he won’t be staying beyond the end of the season so he will be very motivated to lift the Challenge Cup with the Warriors set to take on Hull KR in the semi-finals at Headingley next week.

He will also have his eyes on a Super League Grand Final. However, his parent club will also have an eye on Super League glory in 2023.

It will be interesting to see what kind of role he will play at the Wolves in 2024. Peter Mata’utia is currently off contract at the end of the year.
