The official attendance figures for the 2026 Betfred Super League play-off semi-finals have been revealed following an extraordinary weekend of high-stakes knockout rugby league.
A coveted place at Old Trafford was up for grabs across two electric encounters, with Warrington Wolves edging out Leeds Rhinos 14-12 in a Friday night cliffhanger before Wakefield Trinity produced a historic upset by defeating Wigan Warriors 33-6 on Saturday evening.
On Friday night at AMT Headingley, Leeds Rhinos welcomed a bumper crowd of 16,627 spectators for their intense semi-final clash against Sam Burgess’ Wire side.Â
The impressive turnout marked Leeds’ third-highest home attendance of the entire 2026 campaign, comfortably exceeding their regular-season home meeting with Warrington as the Headingley faithful turned out in force.
The following evening at The Brick Community Stadium, an even larger crowd of 16,724 turned out to watch Daryl Powell’s Wakefield Trinity make history.Â
Backed by over 4,000 travelling supporters from West Yorkshire who packed out the away end, Trinity delivered a relentless 80-minute performance to book their first-ever Super League Grand Final appearance.Â
That figure edged out the Headingley attendance by just 97 supporters to take the top spot as the highest crowd of the semi-final weekend.
