Super League Round Six Prediction: Huge shock result and more woes for the Rhinos

Super League Round Six is nearly upon us.

But how will it play out?

Here’s our predictions:

Huddersfield Giants 10-16 St Helens
We saw last week that Huddersfield can compete with the best again in 2023 as they ran Wigan Warriors close and we should again see that tomorrow. However, the Giants’ inability to score points could cost them. The Champions have been up and down recently but returned to winning ways last week.

Wigan Warriors 28-20 Salford Red Devils
Unlike at the end of last season, Salford have been inconsistent to start the season. They are still a terrific attacking side and this could be a tussle between the two best offensive teams in the league but Wigan should have a little more.

Wakefield Trinity 16-12 Hull KR
Wakefield came so close to their first win of last season and against a Hull KR side who have lost the last three and lost Jordan Adbull, Frankie Halton and Dean Hadley last week against the back drop of more pitch controversy, Trinity could find a way to win.

Castleford Tigers 12-28 Warrington Wolves
After a win last week over rivals Leeds Rhinos, there will be a feel good factor at Castleford as they host Warrington Wolves on Friday night and former coach Daryl Powell. They could give the Wolves a but of a bloody nose but Warrington are on a roll and there are no signs of that stopping.

Leeds Rhinos 10-14 Catalans Dragons
Catalans Dragons are doing the little things exceptionally well and it has been silly mistakes that have let Leeds down to start the season. The Dragons are unbeaten and could leave Leeds with only two wins from the opening six games to start the season.

Hull FC 18-14 Leigh Leopards
This should be a close encounter between two sides who have underlined their abilities with solid performances against Champions St Helens recently. However, at home, Hull may just edge it.
